The Bread Of Life Ministry of Long Beach and sEnD mE a pEnNy of Venice Beach are teaming up for The VETERANS DAY PARADE, November 6, 2010, and will be having a FOOD DRIVE for our Homeless VETERANS of Long Beach and VENICE BEACH. Thanks Giving is coming fast so we need your FOOD DONATIONS, PENNY DONATIONS and CLOTHING DONATIONS ASAP. All donations are Tax Deductable

Clothing Donations and Food Donations can be dropped of at the parade November 6th Saturday from 11:00 am till 4pm. Parade will be on Atlantic Ave in Long Beach, Bixby knolwes.

As a way to say thanks, join the:  
2010 Freedom Walk


The “Freedom Walk In Support of Our Troops” will immediately follow the Veterans Day Parade; participants will walk the same route as the parade entrants. This “walk” will offer an opportunity for the public to join in and say “Thanks!” to the men and women who are currently serving all over the world to protect the freedoms we all enjoy. We invite individuals and teams or groups to enter.

Meet at Houghton Park at 9:00 a.m. Receive your t-shirt that morning to wear during the walk.

Light snacks will be supplied. Then enjoy the festivities in the park after the march.
